What’s Improving for You

As a direct result of Member feedback, we have been working to refine and enhance our credit card rewards programs and technology services so that we can serve you better. Soon, we will release updates that include the following exciting enhancements:

  • More On-the-Go Options — Your Mobile Banking app will show your UFCU credit card transaction history, and allow you to protect your card using CardKeeper™.
  • Real-Time Banking — Your Online Banking and Mobile Banking applications will allow you to check your balance and post payments toward your credit card balance immediately.
  • More Rewards — We’ll be offering more rewards. Cash Back cardholders can receive up to 1.5% and Travel & Rewards cardholders can receive up to 2 points for every dollar spent. We’re also proud to introduce a new program that makes it easier to redeem your rewards.
  • Enhanced Member Services — Our Member Services representatives will be able to assist you more quickly when you have questions about a credit card transaction.

What’s Changing After the Update

  • How You Access Your Credit Card Account — After the update, you can access your credit card account via UFCU Online Banking, Mobile Banking, or Phone Banking. At that time, you will be unable to access your credit card account via eZCard.
  • How You Pay Your Bill — After the update, you will need to reestablish the payment method for how you pay your credit card bill. For more details, see the How Can I Pay My New Bill? section.

Here’s what you need to know and what you can take care of to have the smoothest update experience possible:

What to Do Before February 22

  • Log in to eZCard and download any previous statements before you lose access on February 22. For more details, see the Your Updated Account section.
  • Verify your statement delivery preferences. For more details, see the How Will I Get My New Bill? section.
  • Make note of your future statement closing and payment due dates. For more details, see the When Should I pay my Bill? section.
  • Plan to pay your updated credit card bill on time. For more details, see the How Can I Pay My New Bill? section.

What to Do February 22–25

  • Plan for a slight delay in posting transactions. All credit card transactions will continue to be processed normally during the update. However, if you make a payment or use your card February 22–24, you will not see it listed within your account details until seven business days after the update is complete
  • Prepare for scheduled downtime. Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Phone Banking, and other systems will experience scheduled downtime from 11 PM February 22 through 9 AM February 23. You might experience intermittent downtimes through February 25 as we complete the update.
  • Expect a delay in the posting of your accrued rewards. During the update, you will continue to earn rewards on credit card activity. Your previous rewards balance will be available to view and redeem by March 30.

  • Reset your credit card payments. For more details, see the How Can I Pay My Bill? section.

  • Log in to Online Banking and reset your preferred account alerts. For more details, see the Account Alerts page.
  • If you received a reissued credit card in February, call (866) 928-5450 to activate it on February 25 to avoid an interruption in service.

Your Updated Account

As of February 22, you will be unable to access your credit card account(s) via eZCard. After the update, you will have access to your credit card account information whenever, wherever, via Online Banking, Mobile Banking, or Phone Banking.

You can log in to Online Banking or Mobile Banking to access your updated account. You will find your new credit card listed in the Credit Cards section with a corresponding Credit Card ID. Note that your Credit Card ID will be different than the last four digits of your credit card.

What Will My New Statement Look Like?

As of February 25, you will be able to access your credit card account, check your transaction history, and make payments via Online Banking and Mobile Banking. You also will have access to 18 months of unformatted billing statement data via Online Banking. It is recommended that you log in to eZCard before February 22 and download any statements (with formatting) for your records. After the update, you will be unable to access your credit card account via eZCard.

After the update, your new statement will look similar to this example. Please make note of some important differences when compared to your previous statement:

How Will I Get My New Bill?

Your credit card bill may be sent to you electronically or as a paper statement. After the update, your statement delivery preference will be set to match the delivery preference within your Online Banking. If you would like to modify the manner in which you receive your statement, please call (800) 252-8311.

How Can I Pay My New Bill?

After the update, any payments scheduled using eZCard will not be processed, even if it appears that eZCard has scheduled them. If you cannot reschedule your payment before the update, you are welcome to make a payment over the phone, or visit any location for assistance. Paying your bill is easy, and you have many options:

  • Online
    • Make a real-time transfer from your UFCU account within Online or Mobile Banking.

    Note that after the update, you may not pay your bill via eZCard. Payments you have set up and scheduled to process on or before February 15 will be honored. However, payments scheduled via eZCard on or after February 15 may not be honored, even if the eZCard interface appears to list these payments as scheduled. Do not schedule a payment using eZCard to be made after February 15.

    • Transfer a payment from another financial institution. Be sure to allow 3–5 business days from the date your payment is due.
  • Via Phone Banking — Call (800) 252-8311 to pay your credit card bill within Phone Banking. First press 1 to indicate you are a Member. Then press 2 for options related to paying your credit card bill.
  • By Mail —Direct your payment to UFCU VISA®:

Some Members’ statement cycles and payment due dates are changing. Understanding whether your statement cycle and due date are changing will help you pay your bill on time and avoid a lapse in service. Please locate your current statement closing date and payment due date, and find your new dates according to the following schedules.

MyUFCU Card Rewards

We are excited to introduce our new MyUFCU Card Rewards program. Now, when you use your Cash Back or Travel & Rewards credit card, you will find your everyday purchases have never been more rewarding. The MyUFCU Card Rewards program is simple, easy-to-use, and rewards you with points each time you use your UFCU rewards card. All UFCU rewards credit cardholders receive the following benefits:

  • You can access your current points balance by logging in to Online Banking and selecting your credit card’s corresponding rewards points:

    3. Current Balance
    4. Available Credit
    5. Rewards Points

  • Your existing points will transfer and be available for redemption by March 30. We will contact reward credit cardholders via email to advise when the individual points transfer is complete.
